The Chicago Bulls have confirmed a five-person analyst rotation for their CHSN television broadcasts for the 2026-2027 NBA season. This move follows the tragic passing of beloved color commentator Stacey King last June.
Play-by-play voice Adam Amin will be joined by a rotating group of former Bulls players. The analysts are Kendall Gill, Robbie Hummel, Will Perdue, Bill Wennington, and Scott Williams. Gill will also feature on the CHSN studio show with host Cam Smith and reporter K.C. Johnson. Wennington will pull double duty, calling games on The Score radio broadcast with Chuck Swirsky.
This ensemble approach acknowledges the unique void left by King. He was a three-time champion with the franchise and spent nearly two decades in the booth. His energetic style and memorable catchphrases became a signature part of the viewing experience for a generation of Bulls fans.
Amin recently reflected on what made King such an effective and unique broadcast partner. "You don’t know what he’s gonna say next, but that’s part of the fun of it," Amin said. He credited King with making him a more flexible broadcaster, embracing an improv-like "yes, and…" approach to their rapport.
"He is a one-of-one," Amin emphasized. "I don’t want to commit a broadcast sin by denying this person this thing that makes him so unique, and that makes our broadcast unique." The challenge for the new rotation will be to build a fresh, cohesive dynamic while honoring that legacy.
The broadcast news arrives during a period of on-court inconsistency.

The rotation of familiar faces with deep franchise ties is likely a welcome solution for many fans. Each analyst brings a distinct playing career perspective, from the 1990s championship eras to more recent seasons. Their collective experience should provide varied insight throughout the long NBA season.
While the new broadcast team finds its rhythm, the memory of Stacey King's contributions will remain. His absence is felt not only in the booth but across the entire organization. The 2026-27 season will be a new chapter for Chicago Bulls broadcasting, built on a foundation of shared history and a direct connection to the team's past successes.
