Chicago Bulls legend Stacey King, a three-time NBA champion, has passed away at 59. King played for the Bulls from 1989 to 1998 and later became a beloved broadcaster for the team. King was a 6-foot-11 forward/center who averaged 6.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in his eight-season playing career. He played alongside Michael Jordan as the Bulls reeled off three consecutive championships from 1991 to 1993. King was drafted sixth overall in the 1989 draft out of Oklahoma and played all 82 games as a rookie, averaging 8.9 points and 4.7 rebounds. After his playing career, King became a commentator on Bulls games and delighted fans with his memorable calls and nicknames. King was a cherished member of the Bulls family and one of the truly unique personalities in the organization's history.
