Mouhamadou Gueye, a 6-foot-9 forward, has been waived by the Chicago Bulls after playing 11 games with the Toronto Raptors in 2023-24. He averaged 2.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. Gueye was in camp with the Bulls on an Exhibit 10 deal, which allows him to sign with the Windy City Bulls in the G League and earn a bonus if he spends 60 days with Chicago's affiliate. A native of Staten Island, Gueye had a winding college journey, playing for Monroe Community College, Stony Brook, and the Pitt Panthers. He went undrafted in 2022 and played for the Capital City Go-Go in the G League last season, averaging 10 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Gueye's impressive defensive skills, including his 1.6 blocks per game, will likely make him a sought-after player in the NBA. He will have to hope that his skills intrigue another team to give him a chance soon enough.
